Summary
Concerning the renewal of the Capitulation of the Regiment de Meuron; saying "There are many of the Articles of the former Capitulation which from the change of Circumstances on the Continent, it may be necessary to alter, and the article which stipulates the annual allowance of £3000 to the Colonel Proprietaire may at the present moment by objectionable;" requesting on behalf of Lord Castlereagh that he "look at the former Capitulation of the Regiment, which is in your office, and to give him your opinion what alterations it may be necessary to make, after conversing, perhaps with Gen'l Meuron - before he returns an official answer to the Commander in Chief."
