The collection includes 50 letters from Léopold I to General Chazal; these letters are primarily on subjects related to the political and military problems of Belgium and on personal matters. The collection also contains an autograph letter signed from Queen Louise (MA 6786.2) to Madame Chazal and a memorandum from the Duke of Brabant [Léopold II] (MA 6786.32).
