Summary
Collection consists of 100 letters from Wellington to Thomas Raikes, one letter to Lord Alvanley and one from Lord Aberdeen to Wellington. This volume contains fifty-nine letters, all to Raikes, which concern primarily international affairs with particular focus on the Eastern Question and the Oriental Crisis of 1840.
