Summary
Apologizing for his delay in writing but wanting to include an account of the proceedings with his letter; referring to a stipulation that a senior Bishop should preside at meetings of the convention and questioning the merits of such a stipulation; suggesting that he [Parker] might be questioning whether they have appointed too many Lay Gentlemen to the convention but explaining that it was felt by the Clergy that it "would expedite ye removing of any Prejudices that may be remaining. As it is preparatory to ye forming a Const'n, it will not be a Precedent under it."
