Summary
Discussing, at length and in detail, the circulation of the Notes of the National Bank to the State Banks; suggesting that the "Directors should institute such Regulations as would imbrace all kinds of Property - to confine it to Discount or not to provide Commissioners in each State to let out their Notes on real Security will take a long Time to get its Stock into Circulation;" discussing appreciation and dividend potential; adding, in conclusion, "The Judicial System is so evidently destructive of our State Supreme Courts, that I hope to see that Department totally abolished, some late Influences of their Interference with our Courts shall be the Subject of another Letter."
