Summary
Concerning issues of commerce with respect to forming a confederation of States that share a common commercial strategy; saying "Political Honor and true Wisdom require that we should support and protect your carrying Trade as much as if it was our own. Its Trade is necessary to your Prosperity and unless you prosper we shall decline;" wishing "to know what all the States had done on the Subject of commerce and what your's had done who seem to have gone farthest;" asking about his Stamp Act; questioning whether Congress will act "to obtain from the three Southern States a cession of Territory; encouraging Congress to take up the issue of copper coinage.
