A very serious inconvenience, which perhaps has not been adverted to, may attend that;" expressing concern for the expense involved in registering their armorial bearings with the Heralds' College; fearing that the Companions might not be in a position to incur that expense nor should the Grand Crosses be expected to bear it for them.
