Summary:
Concerning his investment in the Rock Life Assurance Company, which Mr. Courtenay recently reported had failed. Noting that the recipient told Wordsworth in a letter "not to look for such an event as the closing of office for sale of these shares till about the autumn of 1826." Asking that the recipient to respond and intending to look for the original letter once he returns to Rydal Mount. With a postscript giving his address in Penrith.
