Ordering him "to march the whole force under your Command within two miles of the Army at the west end of Long Island Commanded by Gen'l Green. it is expected by this Convention that you order those of Kings and Queens Counties first as they are near and of Suffolk to follow as Soon as possible; these Directions with the enclosed I am ordered to send you with Dispatch."
