Sending greetings; writing that he has responded to Cain's letters and hopes he has received the response; adding that it is easier for him to send a letter to London than Oswestrie [Oswestry]; writing that his wife sends a cheese to Cain's wife; adding, in a postscript written in Welsh, the news of the death of "your friend Richard [Rhisiart] Phylip in the house of my cousin Rowland Vaughan."
