Summary
Concerning cattle coming from Middletown to Wyoming; requesting that he "detach thirty men properly officer'd down the Susquehannah, in order to escort them in to your post. A great number of stores of ev'ry kind, being now at Middletown and Harris's ferries on the river, you will also please to Send thither a Small party to protect them until they can be Sent forward. I have thought proper to be thus cautious, lest the Pennsylvania independent companies, whom I have order'd to take that route, Should by Some accident be retarded."
