Enclosing a letter from General Washington; referring to troop movements; commenting that "Supplys are very hard to be come at, without money of a better kind then I have to purchase with;" congratulating him on the capture of Lord Cornwallis and his Army; adding, in a postscript, that he had applied to Col. Long for the procurement of wine and other supplies which will be conveyed to him.
