Summary
Writing as the "Innkeepers and Publicans" of Guildford and informing him of "...the very great burden we labour under from the unprecedented number of Soldiers we have daily billeted on us;" saying there are close to 1,000 men "...which is more than can possibly be accomodated. The very great loss we daily sustain from the number of Men will oblige many of us to give up our Licenses unless we receive speedy relief;" asking that their case be brought before the Secretary at War.
