This manuscript was probably transcribed in the 18th century.
With a note on p. 15: "In Aprile A.D. 1558 was the Dauphin married to the Queen of Scotland which was honoured by An Epithalamium writ by Buchanan reckon'd to be one of the rarest pieces of Latin Poetrie. --Burnet's Abridgment of the History of the Reformation, page 331." The text of the note, which is in the same hand as the poem, is from Burnett (1682), but the poem itself does not appear in this edition.
