Summary
Sending him a copy of Volume 4 of his book [A Chronological History of the Discoveries in the South Sea or Pacific Ocean]; saying that the lack of a translation of Sarycheff's [Sarychev] voyages has not been a hindrance as he will complete the history of the South Seas expeditions of Captain Cook before going on the Russian discoveries; asking for whatever information he could provide that is "well authenticated" and separate from "what is to be received only as report;" expressing his wish that Captain Kotzebue "will make a fortunate voyage and be enabled to render a satisfactory account."
