Complaining about Bishop [Philander] Chase and noting that "the zeal of the good gentleman ... far exceeds both his knowledge and his judgment"; criticizing Chase's plan of "going to England to beg" for money to establish a theological school in America; wishing the other bishops would discourage Chase's project.
