Informing him that he is hoping to visit Naples early in January and asking for his advice on accommodations; saying he thinks it best that he "...get a house for one month, instead of the hotel, which would cost me dreadfully, with so many persons with me;" detailing the number of servants and horses in his party in addition to his wife; adding "...if I get better, I wish to return to Rome by the old road.."
