Summary
Thanking Nichols and his wife Eliza for their invitation; saying that he has been ill since Saturday, "but on Sunday was cupped ; and hope, am beginning to derive benefit from it, but at present keep my chamber;" sending his best wishes to the whole family and his hopes that "the young Christian, as his greatest blessing, may grow up, in an exact resemblance of his Ancestors."
