Summary
Concerning the drawing of lots for a piece of property; saying the survey had been completed by Mr. [James] Cockburn and that he wishes that he, Mr. [John] Lansing, and Mr. [Stephen] Lush could all meet at the same time to conduct their business; proposing they "Consult on Some plan for getting our money from Mr. Hart, he is Determined not to Return it unless we can get it by Law; commenting that "The Senate is so thin that we can but keep a majority so that I could not have leave of absence to meet at any other place untill the Legislature adjourns, and when that happens, I shall be in a hurry to get home - if it cannot be done I know not when we shall have so good an Opportunity to do the Business." .
