Summary
Recommending the verse of Mrs. Richardson; saying "I ought to have done what you requested some time ago; but ill health, and family distress interposed. Some of Mrs. Richardsons verses are simple tender and elegant and I have no doubt that you will find what will suit you. She has influence as well as talent and can befriend you north and south. I will write either verse or prose for you if you will say how much you want;" adding, in a postscript on the verso, 'Be so good as return to me what you dont wish to purchase / AC."
