Discussing King's father's [James King's] "great good fortune" in becoming "Canon of Windsor"; giving details of how much money he is to receive a year; telling him about his brother's [Thomas King's] new situation; commenting on the Duke of Richmond's "singular opinions," and adding, "the Errours of men of Parts are the more dangerous, because they have means of supporting them so as to deceive others, and themselves into the Bargain"; advising him to decline "any consideration" the Duke offers him.
