Referring to the newspapers and asking for "a little account how matters are settled between the noble offspring of the first adventure, & the last possessors of his Honours inclinations;" adding "I hope you have taken care to secure yr self;" saying that he and a number of other individuals "are got hither thrô various Perils both by Land & water to see Gentle Jemmy, & his brother Intriguer Ned Leigh start for a Plate, which I presume must be determin'd by the best Swimmer;" adding "& was I by my self, I think I shou'd take the advantage of a navigable River to get out of this damn'd Country."
