Written on stationery with engraved letterhead: "Kelmscott House, / Upper Mall, / Hammersmith." Mary de Morgan took care of William Morris at Kelmscott House during his final illness; he died on October 4, 1896.
Previously accessioned as MA 1754, part of a collection of letters to T. J. Cobden-Sanderson, his wife Anne Cobden-Sanderson, and other relatives.
