Summary
Discussing W. B. Yeats's "Ideas of Good and Evil", in particular his errors; saying "So Yeats has confused 'The Wood beyond the World' with the 'Well at the World's End'! I ought to have read the proof. There are some horrible mistakes in the quotations from Shelley, and even the sonnet of Shakespeare is not taken down correctly. I must correct these blunders in the next edition. When I remonstrated with Yeats for being so inaccurate he affected to take a pride in his errors. He is a whimsical fellow but writes devilish well at times."
