Summary
Saying that he is returning the letter his correspondent sent him and that he showed it to "Lord N."; mentioning the case of a "poor american sufferer" who has recently moved to London, the printer and Loyalist John Fleeming (or Fleming); describing Fleeming: "He was a Stationer and [little?] Bookseller at Boston, & had great merit in conjunction with Mr. [John] Mein in the publications which exposed & broke up the first non-Importation agreements. He has a large family & is now endeavouring to drive a little trade being encouraged by the Revd. Dr. Hunter of Hackney & some others to be the editor of a certain monthly publication;" saying that Fleeming has asked to be recommended to Cooper's correspondent "in order that you might (If you could do it without Inconvenience) render him some little assistance" and giving Fleeming's address in London as "No. 3 / Little Kirby Street. Hatton Garden."
