Summary
Assuring him of his friendship toward him and toward Mr. and Mrs. Fenn (probably the antiquary John Fenn and his wife Ellenor Fenn); mentioning a print that he was supposed to receive, but which never arrived: "I somewhat wondered by what Accident it had miscarried. this was the only Commission which Mr. Fenn was so kind as trouble himself with, upon my Account : and I could wish that the little Mishap attending it might be concealed from him. when you write next to that Family, pray present my Compliments to them, and assure them that there is not the least Glimpse of any Thing amiss between us."
