Summary
Saying that he is in doubt about whether or not Elliston expects him to write an "Opening Address, - or, indeed, to write anything, - for your Theatre;" asking Elliston to write to him in Brighton and clarify the matter; saying that if he is to write an address, "it is time that you should give me (as I suggested) a few leading points to touch upon, - as to your alterations, decorations, improvements in the building, &c, &c."
