Summary
Inviting her to attend the rehearsal of a play; saying "I have just heard from Ward that you are in town. Pray come tomorrow and see the Rehearsal (it will be a very bad one - ) We dine at 5 o'clock; and hope to see you at that hour. If either of your brothers or your sister, happen to be with you - don't forgot to bring them at 5 o'clock. The disappointments we have met with in getting up the Play could fill a three volume novel - but these shall be related to you in full, when you come. My mother sends her kind regards - She has gone to bed or she would have written herself - / (In great haste -)."
