Summary
Saying that his wife, Agnes Robertson Boucicault, has been so ill that he has been unable to leave her room; explaining that this is why he missed an appointment with his correspondent; adding "I believe however that you called this morning when I had stepped out to the druggist for some medicinal remedies"; saying that he has no amendments to make to certain enclosures (no longer with the letter).
