Written from "Bannow Lodge, / 8, Essex Villas, Argyll Road, / Campden Hill, W." on stationery engraved with the address.
Previously accessioned MA 2270 and acquired with a 2nd letter to Ruskin dated October 25 of the same year (MA 23229).
The year of writing is not provided however Ruskin would contribute, "Cestus of Aglaia" which would be published the following year from January 1865 through April 1866.
