Summary
Requesting a nurse for Mrs. Hallam; saying "Mrs. Hallam has been confined with a very severe attack of influenza, for some time past, & especially for four or five days. Mr. Holland thinks that she ought to have a regular nurse to sit up with her; her servants having done as much as they can. Possibly you can recommend one as attentive & quick;" asking that someone be sent that evening.
