Informing him that he received an order from His Royal Highness the Commander in Chief to sell the horses belonging to the 16th and 18th Regiments "which I returned as of a second class, in addition to those returned by me at the same time unfit for service." adding "This order will leave the 16th about 500 Strong in horses & the 18th about 470 odd I think when the 2nd class are sold."
