Summary
Concerning his financial difficulties; telling him that his "own happiness the fate of my family and every thing that is interesting to me depend so much upon the issue of the business you have in charge that I cannot omit the favorable opportunity by General Washington of soliciting again your special attention to the matter...If my importunity is troublesome let my situation serve as an apology for it. The loss of property is nothing to the distress of a family;" discussing payments for mortgaged properties and saying "It is unreasonable to oblige me to sell my property and withhold theirs and his must take place or I go to Gaol unless they accomodate payments in this way."
