Letter from Francis Grose, London, to an unidentified recipient, 1791 January 16 : autograph manuscript signed.

Sending him various papers, including a "...small unpublished Poem by Burns, written for my Scotch Antiquities;" asking for information on several castles in Ireland; adding "There was a terrible accident yesterday in the afternoon. A large flight of stone stairs in the Opera house fell down suddenly. Many of the workmen were it is said killed & terribly wounded, but I have not yet heard the particulars.
