Relating, in detail, the account of the battle between the Bonhomme Richard and the Serapis; describing the mistakes made by the Alliance in its efforts to aid the Bonhomme Richard but rather firing on it by mistake; saying "it was impossible to preserve the good Old Ship....The Alliance Contributed much to the loss of the Bon Homme Richard by hitting her between Wind and water and under the Water."
