Saying she will try to find a dog for him when he is ready for one and saying how proud she is of her son Austin who won a school prize in mathematics; adding "But pride apparently brings a headache. I have spent all this day in bed - Otherwise I am better;" commenting on plays they saw the previous evening, saying she hopes to hear from him and asking him to send a book to her mother.
