Apologizing for passing through his house "with a young boy then under my Protection who had lost his Brother in the Crowd & was ready to be trod under Foot;" adding "As a Member of the House of Commons I have an undoubted Right to pass through any of the Avenues leading to it & I thought there was no Harm in taking that passage in such Confusion, But I am sure If I had known it had been in the least contrary to your Grace's Inclination, I w'd have been the last Person to have tresspass'd on any Line of Order you have Prescribed..."
