Summary
Thanking him for a "French Review"; saying that "[t]here is in it something of the French Trick of attributing what was merely accidental to Reflection and System"; discussing different terms for elements of acting: "What Molé [possibly the French comic actor François-René Molé] calls the Medium, means what we call the Level of the Voice, but might more intelligibly be termed the Narrative or Declamatory Tone"; saying that he will return the book to De Boffe this morning.
