Appearing to be a draft written for Henley's proposed edition of "Works of Lord Byron," the first volume of which was "Letters," published in London in 1897 by Mr. W. Heinemann; the announcement for this volume indicates it is "To be followed shortly by "Verse. Volume I., containing 'Hours of Idleness' and 'English Bards and Scotch Reviewers';" the first section of this manuscript is headed "Introduction," the second "Byron II. Proof to W.E. Henley, Stanley Lodge, Muswell Hill, N."
Leaves numbered 1-62 and 1-31, with additional leaves, several in another hand, inserted.
