Summary
Warrant (addressed to William Pitt, here styled Pay Master General of His Majesty's Guards, Garrisons and Land Forces) for a tax to deduct 12 pence from every 20 shillings of the pay of His Majesty's forces. Signed by seven officials, including Thomas Herring, Archbishop of Canterbury (formerly Archbishop of York). With a register of accounts on the verso, also signed by the same seven officials. Dated Whitehall, 28 April 1752.
