Summary
Sending him a book and quoting from a letter from John Romney as follows: "You may take any drawing you please from the sketch of the Temptation - I should be glad if by any means the design could be rescued from destruction - The Head of Christ is finished & full of dignity & simplicity - the Head of Satan also is grand;" continuing the letter in his own words, "...pray consider again if you could not continue to execute the Head of Christ in some happy manner & beneath it a diminutive outline of the whole very imperfect sketch. I hope to hear from you soon."
