Apologizing for the delay in answering her letter, telling her that everyone is well and relating news of the visitors they have with them at Daylesford; thanking her for a copy of the Bishop of London's letter to Cowper, expressing his happiness to know that her family is well and sending her "...a small phial containing all the juice of Chillies that I have left except the remains of what you saw at my table. If I am successful in my crop of this year, I promise to send you a share of it;" including an autograph note to Eliza Faber from Charlotte Imhoff sending her "...best Congratulations on your recent change of situation."
