Declining her invitation to tea due to the press of work; adding "I am obliged to give up the delights of tea - idle pleasant meal! So I must for the present leave your black magic unexplored, tho' I hope I shall have an opportunity of testing it some other time. When I heard last, the tickets weren't going off so quickly as they should. I must confer with Miss Poole about this and the programmes. You have done splendidly in placing so many."
