Asking why, after repeated requests, her box in the theatre has not been raised; saying "If you think I come to you as I have done in an humble manner as if I had the Box out of charity, you are mistaken - My husband parted with the [lost text] upon those terms, to reserve [lost text] for our joint lives, [lost text] misfortune to survive him, & [lost text] always endeavour to preserve the Dignity as the widow of that great man! when occasion requires it - If the [illegible] employ'd a Blockhead as an architect for a Theater who forgot that man kind are not all seven feet high, I can not help it; but my Box must be raised. I beg you will communicate this note to those who will really take notice of -."
