Binding
15th-century German blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards (30 x 20.5 cm), sewn on 4 supports by Paulus R. of Heidelberg (active ca. 1476-1499; EBDB w000004/Kryiss 58). Plain paper pastedowns; plaited endbands. 2 clasps, missing.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Contemporary contents list, in hand not found in annotations (front pastedown). Contemporary interlinear and marginal notations in at least 2 different hands throughout, more predominant in quires a-c, including citations from early 16th-century printed texts. Manuscript titles added to fore edge, top edge, and front board.
