Contemporary blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards (31 x 21 cm), sewn on 5 supports (Kapitalbund) by the Zwiefalten Abbey workshop (EBDB w000054/Kyriss 38), active ca. 1480-1522. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves; plain endband. 2 catch plates, clasps wanting.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards, capital strokes, and underlining. Annotations: Inscription: Haus[??]affenst und das ander buch, 15th century (leaf [1]/2r). 16th-century marginal notations in a German hand.
