Binding
15th-century German blind-tooled dark brown calf over wooden boards (25 x 17.5 cm), sewn on 3 supports, some stamps attributed to the Ebersberg binderies I and II (EBDB w002320, active about 1477-89 and w002321, active about 1480-1507, also known as Benediktinerkloster Ebersberg); rebacked. Plain paper pastedowns (original) and endleaves (renewed). 1 clasp. In a folding box by Julia Wightman, 1944.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubrication not required. Some woodcuts colored by contemporary hand; those on leaves [1]/1v-2r with modern (19th-century?) coloring. Annotations: No marginal notations in text.
