Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Contemporary French rubrication, alternating red and blue initials (washed, blue has faded to whitish or washed away) and yellow capital strokes. A few initials in a reddish gold, perhaps added later. Red running headlines for book number. Annotations: No marginal notations in text. Multiple red paragraph marks (in rubricator's ink?), some with fictive writing, added to margins of book I. Manicules made up of small circles in book VI.
