Hand decoration: Rubrication mostly unrealized, a few initials have been added by hand but are later. Woodcuts have been partially colored in yellow and brown washes. Annotations: Contemporary marginal and interlinear annotations in several hands; contemporary note at colophon regarding Strassburg. Modern bibliographic notes on first two flyleaves: "No. 122 9/4/96..." and record of sales of this edition in Payne's catalogue of 1837 for £13 13s and the Syston Park copy for £11.
