15th-century half leather ("an Italian schoolbook style binding") over beech boards (22 x 15 cm), sewn on 3 supports; repaired. A bifolium of a parchment manuscript sacramentary used as front and rear endleaves. Plain endbands. 1 clasp. Contemporary manuscript title inscriptions on exterior and interior of top board.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Contemporary marginal notations throughout Oppian, probably by Flaminio.
